Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe welcomed Junior Stanislas's return for their Carabao Cup win over Brighton.
It marked the midfielder's first appearance of the season.
"Well, I thought he shot that hit the inside of the post was in, he's usually a reliable finisher!" laughed Howe.
"Considering he didn't have a reserve game and it was his first match action for a long time, he did very well.
"We were managing his minutes and taking no risks and we're pleased."
