Brazilian Legend Ronaldinho Announces He's Set to Retire From Football at the End of the Season

Brazilian Legend Ronaldinho has announced he's planning to retire from the game come the end of this season, thus ending a career which has spanned 18 years.


Playing for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan, the 36-year-old would prove himself to be one of the greatest players of all time, mixing flare and unimaginable trickery with his desire to win every trophy in the game - and he did it all with a big smile on his face.

According to a press conference in New York viagoal.com, the World Cup winning midfielder spoke of how now was the right time to leave the game he loves and become further involved with some of theother passions in hislife:"I am an old man now, I am 36.


"I am no longer 26 like I once was, and I am looking at what I can do to mark an end to my career. The plan is to play one more year.''

After a long and illustrious career that began all the way back in 1998, Ronaldinho can display a hostof silverware in his cabinet, including two La Liga titles, one Serie A title, one UEFA Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup - but of course,the prize jewelisthe World Cup he wonwith Brazil in 2002.
