World’s football governing body, the Federation of International football Association (FIFA) have ordered Moroccan Club Raja Casablanca to pay $54,000 to Ghanaian defender Awal Mohammed.
FIFA asked the North African club to settle arrears owed to the player after they wrongfully terminated the contract of the Kotoko defender.
Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed left Raja Casblanca after just one season with the Moroccan giants.
Mohammed, 26, terminated his contract with the former Moroccan Champions who failed to settle his salaries and bonus forcing the center-back to report the issue to FIFA.
Meanwhile, the player signed a one-year contract with Ghana Premier League Asante Kotoko upon his return to Ghana.
He was however left out of the Black Stars B team having featured for the side during the Championship of African Nations qualifiers.
