BREAKING NEWS: Asante Kotoko part ways with Steve Pollack

Asante Kotoko has shown Steve Pollack the exit door after failing to qualify for the team to the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The FA Cup champions were crashed out of the CAF inter-club competition in Congo losing 6-7 penalties in the preliminary round of the competition.

The former Berekum Chelsea trainer was appointed to replace Zdravko Lugarusic in the 20161/7 Ghana Premier League season.

Pollack won the MTN FA Cup in the first season with the club and finished the season in the 5th position with 43 points.

The English trainer signed a two-year contract with the Reds ahead of the 2017/18 campaign but has been booted out after failing to impress in Africa.
