Burnley boss Sean Dyche happy with steady progress

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says they're happy to "inch along" this coming season.

Experience has been added in the shape of Stoke City pair Phil Bardsley and Jon Walters and Swansea midfielder Jack Cork. Leeds United full back Charlie Taylor adds potential and is highly-rated but it is not a total outlay to worry the bank manager.

"It's going to be inching forwards, not massive strides," says Dyche to the Daily Mail. "That's how it should be for a team like us. Business-wise it's not going to be enough financially to jump massively with wages and fees. It's inching along and building and building and building.

"There's no point in me giving you a load of b/s," he adds. "It's the toughest league in the world."
