Head coach of Dreams FC, C. K. Akunnor is pleased with the results his team recorded against Techiman City at Dawu in the Match Day 26 fixture.

Dreams FC continued with their impressive debut campaign in the top flight with a 2:1 win over fellow debutants Techiman City. Aaron Amoah and Mchael Sarpong scored for Dreams while Stephen Manu was on target for Techiman City. The Dawu based club lost by a lone goal to nothing to Techiman City in the first round of the league.

The victory against Techiman City has pushed the Dawu based club to the 5th position with 39 points and will now play away to WAFA at the Sogakope Stadium in the Match Day 27 fixture.

“We were very aggressive in the early minute and that was what we wanted to do and it resulted in a goal.” Akunnor told Asempa Sports.

“We were able to possess and control the game but getting to the middle of the game in the first half, we lost it. We were not able to control the ball, we lost the aggressiveness and it wasn’t a different story in the second half.

“Their goal made us a bit shaky because we were worried with the way we were playing in the mid-field but we thank God we have been able to get all the three points.

“Coming into the game, we had already played three matches and out of those matches played, we had won only one point so it was very important for us to win this match.

“I am very happy we had all three points and I know our next matches will be very tough. We will make sure that we prepare very well in our upcoming matches to help get all the remaining points.” Akunnor added.
