Ghanaian Al Ahly striker John Antwi has injured his hamstring in his side's stalemate with Wydad AC in the CAF Champions League.
The Egypt-based player was substituted after 30 minutes into the game in the 0-0 encounter.
The injury could affect his team's continental campaign if scan proves a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he scored the crucial goal which earned Ahly a place in the last eight.
Ahly are in search of their ninth CAF Champions League trophy after winning this year's Egyptian League.
