PREVIEW: Can All Stars deflate Techiman City’s ego?
Wa All Stars

After last Monday’s thrilling Super Clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium, the exciting Premier league enters week eleven with another cracker between league leaders, Wa All Stars and high-flying Techiman City at the Nana Ameyaw Park at Techiman on Sunday.

Wa All Stars saw their hegemony crumbled at the Tarkwa T&A Park when they were beating 1-0 by the country’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Medeama, but that has not diluted their strength as they still cling on to the summit of the league log.

On the other hand, Techiman City’s performance have showed glimpses of a team with character as the Nana Ameyaw Park often become a waterloo for most visiting clubs who leave at the end of their encounter badly bruised.

So is the freight of the league leaders who are under pressure not to drop anymore points as Hearts of Oak breath heavily down their neck to topple them from the summit of the league log. Due to that they have vowed not to be made a casualty of the Techiman lads on Sunday.

The two teams would be clashing for the first time in the Premier League and All Stars coach, Anos Kwame Adipah, is sure to rely the services of goalie Charles Kipo alongside some of his trusted stars including Godfred Yeboah, Adams Hafiz, Samuel Azuma and Eric Mensah to do the damage. While coach Yusif Abubakar of Techiman City will use the likes of goalie Richmond Ayi, Stephen Manu, James Boadu, Baba John Mahama, Iddrisu Yahaya and Issaka Ibrahim to plot the defeat of the visitors Another interesting game will takes place at Sogakope where West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) host Tema-based inter Allies, while at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, the soccer miners Ashgold will lock horns with Bechem United.
