Ghana U20 coach Masud Didi Dramani is hoping to get his team in top shape before their first leg African Youth Qualifier with Ethiopia later this month.

The Black Satellites drew 2-2 with China U19 in an international friendly at the newly constructed Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday.

Dramani who is seeking to build on the successes of previous coach Sellas Tetteh says they will be ready before the Ethiopia game.

“Knowing that there is a need to expose them to this type of games makes me happy and I must admit it was a good exercise for us,” said Dramani

“The results do not really matter but the general performance and output was what we were looking at.

“We had to bring most of them on to check their fitness and in all it was a great exercise.”

The Black Satellites placed third at the last African Youth Championship in Senegal and will be hoping to qualify for the next edition of the tournament which will be held in Zambia.
