AshantiGold skipper Joshua Tijani has lauded the influence of coach CK Akunnor on the team.
Coach Akunnor took over the coaching job of the miners last week following the resignation of Bashir Hayford.
The team made a false start in his first game as they lost 1-0 to Inter Allies in a Ghana Premier League fixture last week.
Despite the defeat Joshua Tijani has praised the former Dreams FC coach for his quick influence on the team.
"Since he came, every player is coping with the roles and formations given. None of them have complained about the coach's style" he told GHANASoccernet.com
"Everybody is excited the way he is making us play. He has vast knowledge in football since he is a former footballer.
"He shares with us a lot about football and even lifestyle. We have a relationship with him."
