The final funeral rites of ex-Black Stars coach, Herbert Addo is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 24 but factions in his family are tussling over where he should be buried.

According to the younger brother of the late coach, Philip Addo, while the larger section of the family wants the late coach to be buried in Accra, a section is asking for him to be buried at Aburi.

Explaining the reason for the stalemate, Mr Addo stated that his brother had made a covenant with his first wife that they would be buried next to each other in Accra after their death but some part of the family are insisting on burying him in their hometown.

"As we here right now, we are not clear as to the exact location of where Coach Addo will be buried. At the moment, we are saying that there is a covenant between Herbert Addo and the former wife that when both die they will both be buried next to each other in Accra and we want him to be buried in Accra next to his former wife.

"However, a small section of the family who decided that they are going to bury him in Aburi against Herbert's wishes and we are debating with the minority side of the family", he stated.
