Head coach of the national team Kwesi Appiah says there has been a lot of improvement in the local league and he is really impressed after watching Bechem United play Guan United in the MTN FA Cup round of 32.
Bechem United beat the lower division side courtesy a Yaw Aboatsi strike.
Kwesi Appiah who played for Kumasi Asante during his play days has been touring some of the league centers and he is gladdened by what he has witnessed so far.
“I am very impressed with the performance of both teams. Individually you can see the quality in some players and as a team you can see the quality of play has improved compared to previously,” he said.
Kwesi Appiah signed a two year deal with the national team and has been tasked to win AFCON 2019.
