Coach Maxwell Konadu insists Black Stars B is poised for a win against Burkina Faso

Ghana Coach Maxwell Konadu says his side is poised for the game against Burkina Faso in the first leg of the CHAN qualifiers in Ouagadougou.

The Black Stars B left Accra for Burkina Faso on Wednesday night for the game against the local Stallions.

With a ticket to pick for Kenya 2018, Coach Maxwell Konadu says his boys are ready for the game.

“The boys are poised for action they know what is expected of the them and most of them see this as an opportunity to establish themselves,”

“So we just have to give them our support and try to manage them well come Saturday, so that they give out their best but I know that the can really do well,” Konadu said in an interview.

The 18 man squad has arrived in Burkina Faso and with the game scheduled for Saturday, August 12.

Ghana has been two time finalist at the competition organized for players based on the continent, after losing to DR Congo in the maiden edition and to Libya in 2014.

Head Coach of the national team Coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to join the team later on Thursday.
