Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Paa Kwesi Fabin says he wants to improve the club's goal scoring rate, after the team's abysmal display in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors have struggled to score goals in recent times, finishing last season's premier League with just 23 goals.
The Reds were eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup after failing to score from open play in Ghana and in Congo, to CARA Brazzaville.
Meanwhile, former Black Starlets Coach Paa Kwesi insists he wants to improve the teams attack since "goal scoring is the life blood' of the game.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat New Edubiase 2-0 in a friendly on Sunday, and Coach Fabin told reporters they are preparing vigorously for the start of the new campaign.
"The life blood of football is goals, that's why people ask of the scores after the game," he said after the game. "So I am working on improving the attack making sure after every game we score at least two or three goals," he added.
"We are playing quite a numbers of games, taking them one at a time so that before the start of the new season we will be ready for it."
The Coach who signed a year deal with the Porcupine Warriors is currently at the club for his second spell and explains he will need the backing of the fans to succeed in his new role.
"I have said this many times, the team belongs to the supporters so as a Coach, for me I will work and leave but the fans own the team completely. They shouldn't wait for the worse to happen before coming on board, we need them now to make Kotoko great."
