Coach Yusif Basigi blames football administrators for recent deaths of football coaches

Black Queens coach Yusif Basigi says football administrators are unconcerned about the welfare of coaches in the country, hence the rampant deaths of football heroes in recent times.

Sadly, former Hearts coach Herbert Addo passed away on Friday after a short illness.

The rampant deaths has left the football fraternity in deep shock.

Coach Basigi in an interview with sportcrusader.com noted that football administrators hardly show concern when it comes to the welfare of their players.

“I will blame our club administrators for the recurring deaths of coaches, they are not concerned about the welfare. They remain unprotected and they don’t redeem what is due to the coaches." He said

“I would not blame the football association so much, as numerous of these coaches are not with the national team but with their respective clubs. So I think we need to resolve this issue going forward.

"As a concerned observer, I believe a lot must be done to curb those of the deaths whose circumstances are avoidable."
