Hearts of Oak coach Sergio Traguil has backed under fire goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama to keep his focus in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. The Burkinabe goalkeeper became a subject of discussion after his howler gifted Kumasi Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win in their league game at the Accra Stadium some months back.
The experience trainer returned to the post in the second round of the league and with another Hearts-Kotoko game looming, some have said he should be overlooked but coach Traguil has reaffirmed his trust in the former Kotoko goalie.
“For me the mistake he did in the past is a non issue, he has kept two clean sheets after joining the first team and I am very confident in him as my safest pair of hands,” he said after their 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea
