Medeama SC midfielder Kwesi Donsu has revealed his greatest inspiration in football is Real Madrid and Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kwesi Donsu scored another free kick at the weekend to help the Tarkwa-based club beat Berekum Chelsea in their outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture.
The midfield dynamo has had an amazing season so far scoring 12 goals in all competitions with 9 of his goals coming from free kicks.
“For me Football is my everything, I haven’t learnt any work apart from football so every day I make sure when I go to training I practice very well.”
“I am very good with free Kicks so I have decided to keep practicing more of it at training so that when we are playing a game and we get two or three free kicks I can score one for my club to get results.” He told Lukman Evergreen Mumin of YFM-Accra sports.
Donsu, has produced stellar performances in both domestic and continental football- scoring that famous winner against TP Mezembe in Sekondi in the CAF Confederations Cup.
“Anytime Real Madrid is playing I have to go and watch because I am a Ronaldo fan.” “I like the way he plays and I learn a lot from him especially the way he plays his free kicks so that I can take something from him,” he added.
Donsu is hoping to help secure a top four position with more goals for his team after jumping to fifth this weekend following their victory over Berekum Chelsea.
