Crystal Palace handed good omen ahead of Newcastle clash

Crystal Palace have been handed a good omen ahead of their clash against Newcastle United at St. James' Park.

Palace grabbed their first win of the season last weekend after seeing off Premier League champions Chelsea 2-1 in fine fashion.

And now the Eagles have been handed another 'boost' ahead of their clash against Newcastle United on Saturday.

As reported by the Croydon Advertiser, Stuart Attwell has been appointed as the referee for the clash at St. James' Park and when he last officiated a match between Palace and Newcastle back in 2015, the Eagles emerged as 5-1 victors.
