Daniel Amartey wins second league title

Ghana international Daniel Amartey was awarded a winners gold medal on Sunday as FC Copenhagen beat AGF by two goals to one to lift the Danish Superliga Title for the 15th time.

Amartey who was sold to Leicester City in January was at the Parken Stadium for the last game of the season as his former club won the 2015/2016 championship.

He started the season with Copenhagen and played 15 league games before he moved to England.

Per the rules of the Danish FA, the versatile Ghanaian youngster is eligible to receive a winners medal though he has left the team and he flew to the Scandinavian country to take it.

Amartey also took an EPL champions medal in his first season at Leicester by making the five required appearances.
