Aduana Stars defender Daniel Darkwa says he has been informed of his exclusion from the Black Stars squad ahead of their two international friendlies next week.

This confirms footballghana.com earlier report that Darkwa was part of three players dropped from the squad for the games.

He told Kumasi based radio station Nhyira FM " I have joined Aduana in camp for the league because after training yesterday I was told am not part of the players going for the trip but this will not affect me in anyway but rather motivate me to do well at my club so I can be called again."

Coach Kwasi Appiah and his team ended a  four-day non residential training at the Accra Stadium on Thursday ahead of the trip.

Already, deputy skipper Andre Ayew and his younger brother, Jordan as well as Thomas Partey have opted out of the squad following permission from their respective clubs.

The Black Stars are expected to leave town for US on Friday evening.
