Daniel Nii Adjei confirms departure from TP Mezembe

Caf Confederation Cup winner Daniel Nii Adjei has confirmed his departure from Congolese giants Tout Puissant Mezembe. 

The Ghanaian who scored the winner as the Club retained their confederations Cup title joined the former African Champions in 2013 helping them to win several trophies.

Having spent four year at the club, where he won one CAF Champions League, two Confederations Cup and several domestic titles, the 29 year old announce on Facebook his departure from the club.

“Glory glory hallelujah i came to Congo as a stranger and now I’m leaving as a hero i thank God for a successful 5 seasons in TP Mazembe which ends today.

“God has been good to me for winning everything that is in football i can’t say much but all i say is thank you Lord thank you Lord all i have to say is thank you lord.”

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder who has vast experience of playing on the continent will be looking elsewhere to seek a fresh adventure.

Meanwhile, reports indicates the Porcupine Warriors are interested in reuniting with their former Captain, with Continental football on their hands next season, they could use his experience.

Daniel Nii Adjei has enjoyed a lot of success in his career and will look at returning to the country to join any of the local clubs.
