Dauda Mohammed believes Kotoko have not given up on winning the GPL title

Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed have disclosed that they are not given up on winning the Ghana Premier League title.

Dauda who have already bunked in 8 goals this season believes that their recent form has been a big blow to them but they still believe that will win the league.

The performance of the Kumasi based club in the second round of the league have been dwindling. They now host Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the match day 27 fixture.

Speaking to Adom Sports, Dauda said, “I am happy the league is still ongoing because I have not being able to score goals for some time now and as I went off without scoring, I know it can happen to any player.

Quizzed if they have given up on winning the league title, he said, “Indeed I will be very happy if win the league because that is our ultimate aim and I must say that we are not thinking about our rivals but rather the teams we will play in our next games.”
