Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach Michael Osei has expressed his disappointment after his side failed to pick up all three points in a 1-1 drawn game against Inter Allies on Saturday.

Kotoko took an early lead in the first half but squandered many opportunities to increase their tally before the hosts punished their profligacy in the second half.

The Porcupine Warriors attacker, midfielder Bennet Ofori capitalised on a howler to score the first goal but Allies responded in the 50th minute through winger Fredrick Yamoah who fired home a stunning 30-yard equaliser.

“I think we came in for the win but it didn’t happen that way. We rather drew. Even though a draw is not a bad result I still think we could have won,” Osei said.

“But that is football. You don’t get what you expect. We just have to go back and prepare for our next game at home.”

Osei was hoping to record his 10th victory of the season and had promised attacking football in the build-up to the match.
