Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Pius Enam Hadzide  has urged the Black Starlets to guard against complacency as they seek to book a spot in the finals of this year's Africa Junior Championship.

Ghana come up against Niger at the Port Gentil Stadium in a game which most Ghanaians will have their eyes on considering the team's fine form at the tournament.

This is the third time the two countries are meeting at this level in less than a month.

Their first two meetings happened at the Accra Stadium which Ghana won both games.

"We know you are playing very well and there may be people attempting to get at you, but you are just starting so you have to be focused and get the job done here first," Said Hon Pius who visited the team in Gabon on Wednesday.

"I know we have what it takes to win against  Niger but we must guard against complacency going into the game against Niger."
