Dortmund forward Augbamayeng happy to have not played against Barcelona legend Carlos Puyol

Gabon and Borrusia Dortmund forward Pierre Emerick Augbamayeng says he is happy to have not played against Barcelona and Spain legend Carlos Puyol. 

The Dortmund striker, who met the ex-Spanish national team Captain expressed his delight on not playing against Carlos Puyol.

He posted on instagram,"Im happy that i didn’t play against him 😆😂😂 @carles5puyol #legend#football #aubameyang #pea17 #A⚡️"

Carlos Puyol was one of the most successful defenders in the game winning 20 major titles, including six La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies.

Having spent his entire career at Barcelona, Puyol was part of the "La Roja" team that won the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, 2010.

Meanwhile, Gabonese forward Pierre Emerick Augbamayeng, who has been terrorizing defences with his pace and skill never played again the Spaniard.

Augbamayeng, one time African Footballer of the year has won the Bundesliga goal king back to back and is currently the leading all time African goalscorer in Germany.
