Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has donated an amount of GHC 50,000 to former Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United.
The Northern Region club has struggled since they were relegated from the top flight. The Club has suffered financially and were in danger of dropping further in the lower tiers of Ghana football.
However, Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, who is an ardent follower of the R.T.U dolled out the huge sum of money to support the club ahead of the new Division One League.
Real Tamale United were one of the fearsome teams in the Ghana Premier League, producing players like Abedi Pele and Stephen Oduro.
