Nigeria U23 team captain Okechukwu Azubuike was expelled by referee while in action for his Turkish second division team Yeni Malatyaspor on Saturday.
Yeni Malatyaspor, who also paraded two other Nigerians, Sunday Mba and George Akpabio, lost 2-1 at home to Denizlispor on Saturday.
The former Bayelsa United player was given the matching order for a second booking in the 68th minute when his side was 2-0 down.
He is on the list of the foreign-based players invited by coach Samson Siasia for the CAF U23 Championship next month which will serve as Rio 2016 Olympics football event qualifier.
