Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC administrative manager Ameenu Shardow has lauded the Ghana Football Association for their mouth-watering partnership agreement deal with Pay-TV StarTimes.

The Ghana FA on Tuesday announced a $17.9m broadcast deal with broadcast giants StarTimes over a period of ten to promote the Ghana Premier League, GN Bank Division One League, Women Football and Juvenile Football.

Whiles many have condemned and criticised the FA for signing ten years, Ameenu Shardow believes this will go a long way to promote football in the country.

"This is the best deal that has ever happened to Ghana football and am surprised people are lambasting the FA for landing such a deal," he said.

"Clubs shouldn't be overly excited because it will not put money in their pocket but it will help Ghana Football."
