Dreams FC Manager C K Akonnor says defending Premier League champions AshantiGold gave them a tough challenge in their match-day 24 encounter. The Dawu based side drew 1-1 with Ashgold at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu on Saturday.
Dreams per their current fine form were hoping to clinch all three points but the Miners managed to earn a point.
CK Akunnor in reacting to the results noted that his side played well but Ashgold gave them a tough challenge.
“Ashgold had three men at the back gainst our only one attacker, it made things difficult for us, we didn’t get a lot of chances in the game.” he

Dreams FC will travel to Sogakope on Wednesday to face WAFA.
