Dreams FC manager CK Akunnor wants his players to keep their focus going into the match-day 17 game against Edubiase at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu.

The Dawu based side are home to play their first game of the second round after slipping to a 1-0 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Stadium on Sunday.

Akonnor, in a pre-match briefing, says his approach to the game is to attack more and defend well but maintains that a 100% concentration will do the trick for the team.

“First of all, we need to attack; attack without leaving our back, attack with a bit of balance but it’s important that we control the pace of the game- who has the ball; we must have the ball, who is defending very well, we’re defending very well, who is sort of in control of the midfield- we have to,” he said

“The team must be able to do well in every department and with that we’ll have a bigger chance, we’ll be able to create chances and score.”

“We must also concentrate on standard situations because I don’t know how they will come but these are areas when an opponent comes in an away match where he knows he doesn’t have much to take away he’ll focus so we need to focus our attention there and defend very well during set pieces and dead ball situations”.

Dreams FC sit eighth on the league table with 23 points going into the match while the New Edubiase sit bottom with 15 points.
