Head Coach of Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito says he is happy with his sides victory over Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match day 7 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dawu Park on Sunday.
The home side, were far from their best but made the most of the home support by ensuring they scored the all important winner.
Midfielder George Dwumeng scored the winner in the second half after the Porcupine Warriors had dominated the game.
The victory has lifted the Dawu Club after a run bad results in the past few weeks and manager Karim Zito is excited with the results.
"We played three games, instead of 9 points we had one but today it is an eye-saw, I told my boys we should do everything possible to win this game today so we plan against Kotoko. they were playing and we were trying to score so I am very happy at the end of the day we were able to win this game," he said after the game.
Meanwhile, Karim Zito applauded in form striker Sharani Zuberu for his role in the club's win over Kotoko. Sharani has scored three times for the club this season, a feat that has seen him earn praises from his Coach.
Sharani was nominated player for the month of March but lost to Aminu Mohammed eventually.
"When it comes to the striking area, Sharani stands tall and I think at any given day, he can score."
Dreams FC next travel to the capital to play Liberty Professionals.
