Dreams FC Coach Karim Zito praises team for reaching GHALCA G8 finals

Head Coach of Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito has heaped praises on his players for reaching the finals of the GHALCA G8 competition, where they play Hearts on Sunday. 

Dreams beat Medeama SC 6-5 on penalties, after playing the entire duration goalless. The new comers shocked the big teams to book a place in the finals.

The Dawu-based side beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Eleven Wonders to reach the semis before dispatching Meadeama SC to set up a clash with Hearts of Oak.

Coach Karim Zito praise his players and entire team for making it to the final of the off season tournament.

“I congratulate the boys and management for sealing through to the final of the G-8. We have young players, most of them are inexperience and haven’t play in the top flight before but I think they deserve some praise,”Zito told Metro FM.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach also revealed, he face a stern competition from the Mauves and Yellow as they were hard to crack.

“Medeama SC is the team that has given us tough game though we have played against Kotoko and Aduana Stars,” Coach Zito added.

Dreams FC will play Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday for the ultimate. Meanwhile, the Ghana Premier League has been scheduled to start on the weekend of February 11th.
