Robbie Earle feels Stoke City should move for Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw.
Earle wrote for The Sentinel: "Luke Shaw would be a great signing for Stoke City, but I don't think Stoke would be at the front of the queue if Manchester United to decide to let the England left back go this summer.
"He is a quality player so I can see why he would appeal to Stoke, but if Jose Mourinho doesn't want him I can imagine one or two of the big boys in the top six would be keen.
"The attacking full back would be a perfect fit for Liverpool for example, although, admittedly, transfers between those two clubs are as rare as rocking horse droppings.
"I got to know Mourinho's methods quite well when he first came to England with Chelsea. I was living near to their training ground and got decent access to see the brilliant job he was doing. One thing that struck me was he made his mind up pretty quickly about players, particularly defenders."
