Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is eager to test themselves against Sevilla in today's friendly.
With Everton hosting Stoke next Saturday 12 August for their Premier League opener, Pickford believes Sevilla are the ideal opponents for the Blues to test their mettle.
“It's a friendly against a very good team in Sevilla and one that will help us in the best way possible for Stoke," said Pickford.
“They have some top-quality players and are one of the top sides in La Liga and that's going to be important in further preparing us for the Premier League.
“We've already played two European matches which will hopefully give us that competitive edge. Now we've got another test but it's what we need as a group."
