Ex-Alaves boss Pellegrino now odds-on favourite to become Crystal Palace manager

Former Deportivo Alaves manager Mauricio Pellegrino has been placed as the favourite to take over the managerial hotseat at Crystal Palace.

Palace have been on the lookout for a new manager following the shock departure of Sam Allardyce last month.

And having missed out on the services of Marco Silva and Garry Monk, the Eagles have now reportedly focused their attention towards acquiring the services of Mauricio Pellegrino.

According to reports emerging out of Argentina on Monday, the former Liverpool coach is currently the favourite ahead of Burnley boss Sean Dyche to take up the hotseat at Selhurst Park.
