Departing Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has urged French football not to be so critical of PSG.
PSG are celebrating a Ligue and Coupe Double this season, though have been hammered for their Champions League failure.
Wenger, however, insists: "I have always been close to PSG. I encouraged them when they bought PSG.
"There was everything to do and they started the job well.
"I think we are a little too demanding with PSG today because they have just quadrupled and that is not good enough. We cannot build a club with the idea that, if it does not win the Champions League, everything is bad."
