Ex-Black Stars defender John Paintsil locked up in Police cells for beating up an officer

Ex-Black Stars defender John Paintsil was locked up at the East Legon Police Station in Accra on Tuesday evening for beating up a police officer, GHANASoccernet.com understands.

Paintsil had reported at the Police Station together with his wife over a domestic but the former Fulham star ended up in cells for alleging punching the station commander.

An eye-witness told GHANASoccernet: "We heard about the scuffle so we rushed there and we saw John Paintsil behind bars."
