Former Ghana player Ntow Gyan says he is ready to assist his former club Asante Kotoko in any capacity.

Gyan who now has a CAF License ‘A’ certificate has been monitoring the current happenings at the club.

He has not been impressed with how things are going, hence his readiness to support.

“Kotoko was one of the most feared clubs in Ghana and Africa. It is sad to say that’s no more the case,” he told Sunyani-based Suncity radio

“Kotoko deserves better. As a former player, I better understand the tradition of the club and with my technical knowledge and expertise in the game, I believe that my contribution may be necessary to help the club rediscover its lost status as a domestic and continental giant,” he added.

Asante Kotoko recently sacked their Croatian coach, Zdravko Logarusic after just four months in charge of the club.

Assistant coach Godwin Ablordey has been asked to see to the remainder of the first round matches.

He will be supported by former Ghana U17 coach Frimpong Manso.
