Former New Edubiase midfielder, Asiedu Attobrah is eyeing a move to the South African Premier Soccer League.

Attobrah is a 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder with European experience. The talented player was previously on the books of K.V Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League.

In 2013 Attobrah almost signed for Sundowns after spending some time training with the Chloorkop-based outfit. Having parted ways with K.V Kortrijk last year, after terminating his contract with them in September, the player has confirmed that he would like to come to Mzansi to further his career.

“I want to play in South Africa. I am a free player. I played in Belgium for KV Kortrijk. I have also played with the Ghana national U20 team in Africa and in the World Cup,” said Attobrah in issue 1014 of the Soccer Laduma newspaper.

The midfielder’s former club in Ghana, New Edubiase United, hindered the proposed move for him to join Downs in 2013, according to the player.

“My club in Ghana never allowed me to sign for Sundowns,” Attobrah confirmed.

Attobrah was with the Ghana U20 team that participated in the World Youth Championship in New Zealand in 2015.
