Former Hearts of Oak Coach Kostadin Papić has admitted he came to Ghana Friday to watch and select three Black Satellite players for his new South African Club Royal Eagles FC.

Papić who once Coached Accra Hearts of Oak in 2008 before leaving in 2009 arrived in Ghana with speculations that he was in to sign for the Phobians but he divulged to Happy FM that he came down to monitor and select players from the Ghana U-20 side for his team Royal Eagles a first division side in South Africa.

“I came to watch Ghana’s U-20 team play Ethiopia to select three Ghanaian players for a new Club I coach in South Africa called Royal Eagles FC.” He told Moses Antwi Benefo of Happy FM.

The 55 year old Serbian trainer who managed a number of African clubs in South Africa, Ghana and Tanzania, unfortunately failed to watch his targeted players in action on Sunday at the Cape Coast stadium after Torrential rains in the Central Regional capital of Cape Coast forced the postponement of the game as the pitch was soaked with water.

The Black Satellites will seek to overturn a 2-1 loss suffered away against Ethiopia at 12.00 noon on Monday at the newly constructed Cape Coast Stadium.
