Former Asante Kotoko chairman Jarvis Peprah has lauded the current management's decision to sack coach Zdravko Lugarusic.

Kotoko after their goalless draw game with Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Stadium terminated the Croat's contract.

Before the game many had called for Zdravko's exit and Jarvis believes the right decision has been taken.

“I’m very happy with Lugarusic’s sack and I think it’s a timely intervention for the club. The team hasn’t been playing well and all boils down to the tactics of the coach,”  he told Happy FM

“In fact, you could see clearly from yesterday’s game that we didn’t have a good coach. Our striker [Yakubu] was caught off-side on several times and the coach did nothing about it and Christopher Bonney was marauding the left flank of Kotoko’s defense at will and the coach did nothing to salvage the situation."
