Ghana midfielder, Alfred Joseph Duncan is on the verge of signing a long-term contract with US Sassuolo after reaching an agreement to extend his contract, Footballghana.com understands.
The 25-year-old bulky midfield powerhouse joined the Neroverdi in 2015 from Sampdoria, his current contract expires in 2020.
Duncan will sign a new two-year deal with the Italian top-flight side which will see the midfielder tied-down until 2022.
An official announcement of the deal can be expected in the coming days.
Duncan had been linked with a move away from the club in the past few weeks with Inter Milan and Galatasaray both showing an interest in the player.
