Exclusive: Hearts of Oak ejected from Legon Park this morning for non-payment of arrears

The playing body and technical team of Accra Hearts of Oak were asked to leave the Legon Park this morning during their training session, footballghana.com can confirm.

According to our source, the Phobians have failed to pay managers of the ground a dime for using the venue.

Various attempt to get their money which is believed to be GHC 12,000 have proved futile, hence their decision to throw them out.

Hearts of Oak had been training on the glassless Tesano Police Depot Park but moved their training ground to the Legon Park following several criticisms of the playing surface, with former coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi publicly bemoaning the state of the Police park.

But footballghana.com can confirm, management of Hearts are in talks with the managers of the ground to settle the arrears so they can return to training.
