Federick Yamoah joins Ropapa Mensah at City Islanders

Ghanaian youngster Federick Mensah has joined USL side City Islanders.

Yamoah becomes the third Inter Allies player to join City Islanders following moves by Ropapa Mensah and Abass Mohammed.

Ropapa who has signed a year loan spell with the United Soccer League side in February has welcomed Mensah.

“It is always nice to meet your country men outside Ghana and more to the point when you know each other back home. I played together with Fred and it will be nice to play with him here in the US.

“I already have Abass with me here and to be joined by Fred is something we could have dreamt of. I am looking forward to playing in the same side with Fred and Abass all on same pitch .

“He is at home and have no problem settling at all. The Allies brand will be waved on weekly basis”, Ropapa told Sports Crusader.
