Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey insists he is the best man for the job despite their current poor form. The Dansoman based side recorded yet another defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Dansoman Park on Saturday.

They have now dropped to 9th on the table with 30 points and pressure is mounting on George Lamptey who many have said he is unfit for the job.

But the veteran trainer insists he is the right man to lead the club.

“I know results are not coming but I am doing very well and I am the right person for this job,” he said

“The performance of every coach is judged by results and I am sure all the supporters will say I am not good but that is how the job is.

“Things are not going well but we will turn things around before the season comes to an end.”
