Former Bechem United striker Abednego Tetteh to join Iranian club

Former Bechem United striker Abednego Tetteh is set to join an unnamed Club in Iran, footballghana has gathered.

The lanky attacker has been linked with several clubs in Ghana and in the gulf.

Tetteh, who cancelled his contract with Ethiopian Premier League side Jimmar has been in the country for a couple of weeks and has attracted interest from both Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

However, the 27 year old has been unable to join any of the clubs with reports heavily linking him to clubs from South Africa and Asia.

According information gathered by footballgahana.com, the player is in constant communication with former boss Alberto Vicenzo Annese who is in Asia, coaching Palestinian side Ahli Al Khaleel.

The former MTN FA Cup winners is said to been in negotiations with the unnamed club but it is expected he will be signing a new deal very soon.
