Former Black Maidens star Ernestina Abambila has signed her first professional contract with Belarusian side FC Minsk on a long term deal.
Abambila, who was with Youngstown State University (USA) following her phenomenal outings at the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup in far away Costa Rica where the Black Maidens, gets to play professional football in the Belarusian Women’s Premier League.
The 18-year-old midfielder was also an integral part of Mas-Ud Dido Dramani’s U-20 female side the Black Princesses for the world cup held in Papua New Guinea and even scored a stunner in the final group game against USA.
