Former Chelsea and Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has spoken of his relationship with Jose Mourinho, revealinghow it eventually broke down.
Villas-Boas worked under Mourinho at Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan as an opponent observer in arguably the Special One's most successful spell as a manager.
During Mourinho's time at Inter, however, Villas-Boas opted to take the step into management himself, a decision that resulted in the two no longer being on speaking terms.

Speaking at an event in Amsterdam- as quoted by theMirror-Villas-Boas said:In my formative moments working with Jose was the best time of my life “ I was able to lean to many things and working with him takes you to another level.
You fall in love with him and he becomes your idol.
"I wanted to be like him, know everything that he knew and absorb all the information he was giving."
Villas-Boas' first forage into management came at Portuguese side Academica, guiding them to safety. This led to the first team coach role at Porto where he replicated Mourinho in securing a treble of his own.
Despite his clear admiration of the nowManchester United boss, Villas-Boas made it clear that the relationship soured as soon as he showed an inclination to pursue his own career in management.
"Then you fall on the wrong side of Jose and that's when things change and you realise that you've been blinded by someone.
"He has this fascinating capability of getting the best out of you, which has good or bad consequences for people.
My consequences were that as a result of the argument or disagreement we had, I started my coaching career.
Villas-Boas left Russian side Zenit in May having led them to a title and cup win in his two year spell.
