Former skipper of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Joseph Hendricks wants management of the club to confirm interim coach Michael Osei on a permanent basis.

Osei has been in an interim basis since the sacking of Coach David Duncan following a difficult start to the season.

Osei since then guided the team to finish third on the Ghana Premier league table after the first half of the season.

Hendricks who was phenomenal for the Porcupine Warriors during his playing days has urged the Opoku Nti-led management and the board to confirm Michael Osei.

‘’Yes, he has sacrificed a lot for the club and because he has been assistant for some time now, he has gained considerable knowledge about the game,’’ he told Kumasi based radio station Nhyira FM.

‘’Don’t forget he worked under Didi Dramani and David Duncan, so he has learnt a lot and I feel that he has done well to be given the job, so I think the management should give him a contract to become the head coach of the side.’’
