Former coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh has been linked to the vacant Kumasi Asante Kotoko coaching job following the departure of Zdravko Lugarusic.

Kotoko who have been winless in their last five games, parted ways with the Croat Lugarusic after unimpressive results and tasked his assistant Godwin Ablordey and newly appointed technical director Frimpong Manso to take over the helm of affairs.

However, things remain same hence the need to quickly hire a substantive coach.

The Porcupine Warriors may be looking in the direction of the former Nigerian coach if unconfirmed reports from Ghanaguardian.com are anything to go by.

The Hierarchy of Kotoko have left the door open for both foreign and local coaches for the vacant head coach job as they hope to win the GhPL title and make sure the team does not fail in its bid to qualify for Africa next season.

As Management wished to see Kotoko’s philosophy to a more attractive and attacking football, It remains to be seen if Sunday Oliseh would land the Kotoko’ big job.

Despite the Five winless streak, the Porcupine Warriors currently sit seven points off first place with 19 points in the Ghana Premier League standings.
